Kodine Bilişim Hizmetleri ("Kodine", "we", "us"), based in Ankara, Türkiye, operates the Kodine coding assistant and the kodine.net website (together, the "Services"). This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect when you use the Services, why we collect it, and what rights you have over it.

Data we collect
We collect only the data needed to provide the Services:
- Account data: your email address and name when you create an account or sign in.
- Workspace data: the workspaces you create in the console, including their names, members, settings and billing configuration.
- Chat sessions: your conversations with the assistant are stored in a MariaDB database on servers we operate, so you can resume, review and share them.
- Payment records: top-up amounts, currencies, timestamps and payment references. Card details are processed by our payment processor and are never stored on our servers.
What we never do
Kodine is not in the data business:
- We never sell your personal data to anyone.
- We do not use third-party analytics services.
- We do not run advertising or ad trackers on our sites or apps.
Cookies
We use a single, strictly necessary session cookie to keep you signed in. We do not use analytics, advertising or any other third-party tracking cookies.
Data retention and deletion
We keep your personal data for as long as your account is active. You can request an export or deletion of your data at any time by emailing [email protected] — we process deletion requests without undue delay and confirm once your data has been removed.
Your rights (KVKK and GDPR)
Kodine Bilişim Hizmetleri is the data controller for your personal data under Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 ("KVKK") and the EU General Data Protection Regulation ("GDPR").
You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict or object to the processing of your personal data, and the right to data portability. To exercise any of these rights — including applications under Article 11 of the KVKK — email [email protected] from the address associated with your account.
If you believe we have mishandled your data, you can lodge a complaint with the Turkish Personal Data Protection Authority or with your local EU supervisory authority.
Where your data lives
Our primary infrastructure — including the MariaDB databases that store account, workspace and chat session data — is hosted in the European Union.
Sub-processors
Inference requests from the assistant are processed on infrastructure operated by Kodine; we do not use third-party sub-processors to store your chat sessions. Payment card processing is performed by our payment processor under its own privacy terms.
Security
We apply appropriate technical and organizational measures — encryption in transit, access controls and least-privilege practices — to protect your personal data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure; if you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately.
Children
The Services are not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has provided us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the new version on this page and update the date above; material changes will be announced by email or a notice on kodine.net.
